Cohiba Cigars – Cuban Perfection for Connoisseurs
The renowned cigar brand Cohiba is one of the most famous and prestigious Cuban long fillers worldwide. Since 1966, its distinctive aroma has delighted aficionados around the globe. The meticulous processing of select raw tobaccos, which undergo a triple fermentation, gives Cohiba cigars their unique character. The brand offers a variety of formats, including the legendary Esplendidos, Robustos, and Lanceros. Newer formats like the Siglo VI and the Piramides Extra enrich the lineup. The Maduro 5 series, with its long-aged dark wrapper, and the luxurious Behike BHK line set new standards.
All Cohiba formats are crafted at the historic El Laguito factory. This renowned establishment employs Cuba's finest cigar rollers, who work with utmost precision and dedication. A unique privilege of the Cohiba brand is the exclusive selection of the finest tobacco leaves from each harvest, ensuring the highest level of quality.
An outstanding feature of Cohiba is the additional third fermentation, during which the Seco and Ligero tobaccos are aged for an extra 18 months in cedarwood barrels. This process gives the cigars an unparalleled complexity of flavors – ranging from delicate grassy notes to intense roasted aromas, harmoniously complemented by hints of vanilla, cocoa, and coffee.
