With access to premium raw materials, Alfambra began developing hand-rolled longfillers. Most of the tobaccos still come from his own fields to this day. His cigars quickly found customers not only in Latin America but also in Europe. Alfambra has been particularly successful in Spain, where the discerning audience is known for its appreciation of quality and tradition. The Outstanding Cigars of Alfambra

The Alfambra JG cigars are the work of Alejandro Mata, a Spanish producer who also created the Alfambra and El Brujito lines. These cigars are distinguished by Cuban tobaccos in the filler and binder, complemented by an Ecuadorian H-2000 wrapper. The authenticity of the Cuban tobaccos is verified by official Habanos S.A. documents.
Alfambra Boutique Cigars: The Essence of Nicaragua
In May 2024, the Alfambra portfolio was expanded with the Boutique cigars. These represent the pinnacle of craftsmanship and the unmistakable influence of Spanish entrepreneur Alejandro Mata. His passion for tobacco was ignited after an invitation to the VII Festival del Habano in Cuba, where he met the tobacco legend Alejandro Robaina. Inspired by this encounter, he founded a Tabacalera in Estelí, Nicaragua, in 2007.
The Boutique line is crafted almost exclusively from tobaccos grown on Mata’s own fields in Nicaragua. The filler combines Corojo 99 and H-2000, while the binder is a Nicaraguan Sun Grown. The wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sun Grown, is the only exception, giving the cigar its unique character.
These cigars stand out with woody and roasted notes, mild strength, and a velvety smoking experience. They are an excellent choice for aficionados who value a harmonious balance of quality and price.
