Belmore Cigars and the History of Charles Fairmorn

Belmore is a renowned brand founded by Charles Fairmorn. These cigars are produced in the in-house tabacalera in the Dominican Republic. Originally, Charles Fairmorn was established in the United States in 1972. In the following years, the company expanded its reach by opening a German branch in Hamburg. However, when the tobacco industry experienced a downturn in the 1980s, the American operations were discontinued.

Expansion to Central America: Nicaragua and Honduras

The company also underwent changes in Germany, relocating its headquarters from Hamburg to Dingelstädt in Thuringia before eventually returning to Lübeck. After the turn of the millennium, Charles Fairmorn resumed operations in the United States and expanded to Central America. Today, the company operates production facilities in Nicaragua and Honduras. Among the cigars produced there are the Charles Fairmorn Tradition and the Liga Centro Americana, crafted under the guidance of Nestor Plasencia. In the Dominican Republic, alongside Belmore, the brands Quisqueya and Personales are also manufactured.

Belmore Cigars: Elegance and Perfection

The production of cigars began in 2001, and just two years later, the Belmore brand was officially launched. These cigars stand out for their flawless craftsmanship and sophisticated appearance, which captivate aficionados worldwide. Thanks to their unparalleled quality, Belmore has secured a lasting place in the world of premium cigars over the years.

The Sweet Temptation with Brazilian Flair
The sweet temptation with Brazilian flair: Belmore Maduro Cigars

The Belmore Connecticut, formerly known as Clasico, is characterized by its mild nature. A harmonious blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco, combined with an American Connecticut Shade wrapper, makes it a cigar for any occasion. The Belmore Maduro, on the other hand, impresses with its unmistakable sweetness, owed to its Brazilian Maduro wrapper. This wrapper not only gives the cigar its deep brown color but also its unique Brazilian flavor, making it truly one of a kind.
