Established in 2007 under the direction of the renowned Oliva Company, Studio Tobac combines the expertise of Oliva Company employees known as "The Board," tasked with creating exclusive cigars for true connoisseurs. The Ligero tobaccos from the regions of Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa are processed at the Tabacalera Oliva for the Serie F, Maduro, Sun Grown (known as Cain Habano in the USA), and Daytona lines. Ligero tobacco is derived from the upper leaves of the tobacco plant, which receive the most sunlight and nutrients. Tobaccos from Esteli are renowned for their strength, Condega for their complexity, and Jalapa for their refined character.
