This traditional city in the Bergisches Land region is the hometown of Oskar Nausch. However, for many years now, he has been drawn to the Dominican Republic. Whether it was Wuppertal’s rainy climate or his adventurous spirit that led him to the Caribbean remains his secret.
Don Esteban – A Success Story from the Caribbean
In Santiago de los Caballeros, the second-largest city in the Dominican Republic, Oskar runs the Tabacalera “Don Esteban.” There, where the rain is warmer than in Wuppertal, he oversees the creation of exceptional cigars that are cherished worldwide.
Our collaboration with Oskar and his team has been going strong for almost two decades. This partnership and shared vision have significantly contributed to the development of his brand Samana.
