The brand Arnold André looks back on over two centuries of company history. This traditional company from Bünde, once Germany’s cigar capital, is now managed by the seventh generation. However, the story is far from over: Axel-Georg André, the current owner, has dedicated a very special cigar to his youngest son – Carlos André.
Carlos André Cigars: Enjoyment with a Personal Touch
The company’s rich history truly began to flourish during the post-war years. With the brand Handelsgold, Arnold André left a lasting mark on that era, while the cigar Tropenschatz, still popular today, remains an icon. Affordable machine production made it possible to fulfill the desire for a touch of exoticism within the middle class – a small luxury accessible to all.
Even today, Arnold André remains true to this principle. Who doesn’t know the popular shortfillers sold under the name Independence, which are available almost everywhere? They may be polarizing, but there are few cigars in this segment with such a high level of recognition.
Arnold André: From Traditional Company to Longfiller Expert
Arnold André is much more than a provider of affordable cigars. As an importer, the company distributes renowned brands in Germany such as La Aurora, Toscano, Brick House, and El Baton. The esteemed brand Joya de Nicaragua also owes its presence in Germany to this experienced distributor.
Given this expertise, it was a logical step to develop their own longfillers. Successful in-house brands like Buena Vista and Montosa cater to connoisseurs with high standards while offering excellent value for money.
Cigars by Carlos André: Elegance and Character
The exclusive cigars by Carlos André were originally intended only for friends of the family and were given as personal gifts. The series was created at the request of Axel-Georg André, who, as mentioned, dedicated it to his youngest son. These cigars represent a particularly personal touch.
The series Cast Off invites you to leave everyday life behind and dive into indulgence with its maritime motto – “Cast off.” In contrast, its more spirited sibling, Airborne, captivates with a bolder spiciness. Both series impress with their harmonious character.
