The Casa Magna brand is the work of two seasoned titans of the cigar world: Nestor Plasencia and Manuel Quesada. While Manuel Quesada has been running his successful "Manufactura de Tabacos S.A." since 1974, Nestor Plasencia also brings decades of expertise to the table. Originally from Cuba, the Plasencia family migrated to Nicaragua in the 1950s, where they established a new tobacco empire.

The combined knowledge and passion of these two master blenders are the keys to Casa Magna's success. Every cigar is crafted at Nestor Plasencia's Segovia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The tobacco used in the cigars comes from the fertile soils of Nicaragua, except for the Liga F series, whose Maduro wrappers are sourced from Honduras.

The volcanic soils of Nicaragua are rich in minerals and provide ideal conditions for growing tobacco. Especially in the Estelí region, where Casa Magna cigars are produced, the soils are exceptionally fertile. Combined with a mild climate of 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, this creates optimal conditions for cultivating tobacco plants. Additionally, Casa Magna grows tobacco in the Jalapa Valley, another top-tier region for tobacco cultivation.
