Even at a young age, Marshall was deeply devoted to working with wood. The wooden sailboat he built himself – originally intended for global voyages – was sold to fund the launch of his company. What began in a garage and living room quickly evolved into one of the most sought-after names in the luxury humidor segment. Celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Al Pacino, and Sylvester Stallone are among his clients, along with prominent figures from business and politics. The move from exclusive humidors to crafting his own cigars was a natural next step. With Manuel Quesada at his side – a legend among master blenders – Marshall brought his vision to life: cigars of the highest quality and character. The Quesada family boasts over a century of tradition in producing fine Caribbean cigars. What began in Cuba continues today in the Dominican Republic – under the MATASA family business, known for brands like Quesada and Fonseca.
Red Label – Quality From Nicaragua
Together with Quesada, Marshall developed the bold and character-rich Red Label cigars in the mid-1990s. This line impresses connoisseurs with its finely balanced flavors and excellent craftsmanship. The tobaccos used come from Nicaragua, grown and processed by the renowned Plasencia family – a hallmark of top-tier quality.
Marshall’s greatest coup came with the launch of his gold-adorned cigars. These vitolas, wrapped in 24-karat gold leaf, combine artisanal finesse with luxurious sophistication.
