Camacho Cigars – Timeless Tradition and Impressive Strength
The brand Camacho is synonymous among aficionados with medium to full-bodied cigars of premium quality. The brand boasts a storied history: its founder, Simon Camacho, had to leave his home Cuba after Fidel Castro's revolution and settled in Florida. There, he established a company that quickly gained international recognition. Reportedly, even Winston Churchill admired his cigars. In the mid-1990s, the brand, now owned by the Eiroa family, returned to Central America. Since then, Camacho cigars have been crafted in Honduras.
The World of Camacho Cigars
In 2008, the Eiroas sold the brand rights and the Tabacalera Rancho Jamastran for an estimated $35 million to the Swiss holding company Oettinger Davidoff. Christian Eiroa remained with the company for a few years before re-entering the market in 2012 with his own creations.

Mild Elegance with Full Flavor: Camacho Connecticut
With his new brands CLE and Eiroa, Christian Eiroa created impressive cigars that made waves in the industry. His Tabacaleras Unidas and the new factory El Aladino in Danlí, Honduras, have become significant players in the Honduran and Nicaraguan cigar industries.
Relaunch in 2014
In 2014, the brand underwent a comprehensive redesign under the leadership of the Oettinger Davidoff Group. The focus shifted to boldness and strength, a statement reinforced by Camacho's motto "The Bold Standard" and its distinctive scorpion logo.

Powerful Cigars with Character: Camacho Corojo
Despite the modernization, the brand's connection to its traditions remained intact. The existing product range was carefully refined rather than overhauled. Formats like Corona, Robusto, and Toro remained unchanged. The flavor was adjusted without compromising on quality – a hallmark of Camacho cigars. With decades of expertise and a clear focus on bold cigars, the brand continues to set new standards in the industry.
The Camacho Cigar Collection
To showcase the diversity of Camacho cigars more clearly, the editions were categorized into new segments. In Germany, the currently available series include Corojo, Connecticut, Ecuador, Nicaragua, as well as the Liberty Series and the Brotherhood Series.
