Caldwell: Cigars of a Visionary
The passion for cigars captivated Robert Caldwell at a young age. Allegedly, at the age of twelve, he hid in a treehouse to enjoy his first cigar. However, he was caught by his sister's husband, who tried to dissuade him in a traditional way. He took Robert to the factory of Ernesto Perez Carillo. There, Robert was given a particularly strong cigar, intended to put him off smoking. The plan backfired, though: Robert enjoyed the cigar so much that it only deepened his passion for the craft.
Exclusive Partnerships
This experience left a lasting impression on Robert. Years later, he started supplying hotels and restaurants with premium cigars in partnership with a business associate. The demand for private labels grew, prompting him to travel to Central America to learn more about cigar production. There, he discovered rare, long-aged tobaccos that were overlooked by major manufacturers due to their limited availability. These unique finds inspired him to create new, one-of-a-kind blends.

Robert Caldwell and Christian Eiroa
The rare tobaccos Robert discovered in Central America formed the foundation of his first blends. Together with Christian Eiroa, who revitalized his career with Tabacaleras Fabricas Unidas after selling his Camacho brand to the Oettinger Davidoff Group, Robert created Wynnwood Cigars. These cigars are named after a trendy Miami district known for its art galleries and exhibitions.
Caldwell's Cigar Highlights
In 2014, Robert ended the partnership to establish his own brand, Robert Caldwell. The first cigars were produced in the Tabacalera William Ventura, operated by the Ventura family. A year later, he began building his own factory. Since summer 2015, most of his blends have been produced there. One of his most renowned series, Blind Man‘s Bluff, is manufactured in a factory of the Oettinger Davidoff Group in Honduras, which is also responsible for Davidoff's Camachos.

The Caldwell brand is synonymous with fine boutique cigars, offering a unique flavor profile. Whether you choose Long Live the King, The King is Dead, Eastern Standard, or Hit & Run, aficionados are guaranteed an extraordinary smoking experience from Caldwell's diverse creations.
